Description:Seeking skilled, motivated, open-minded Network Engineer for full-time position that is capable of addressing issues and seizing opportunities across the full spectrum of business technology. As a member of our team you will be required to blend your professional presentation with technical expertise.

You will join our fast paced team environment to provide support for multiple clients, working with a group of small to mid-sized businesses, to manage and support their technology infrastructure. A typical infrastructure will include: desktops, laptops, and other portable or hand-held IT devices, servers, networks, printers, applications, security, backups, virtualization, and more.

Duties:Network Engineer


General areas of responsibility include network and systems administration, daily support, engineering, troubleshooting, monitoring, mentoring and serving as the primary liaison to our clients’ technology vendors.
You will work in partnership with clients (business owners, executives, end users, and peers), enabling them to meet their business objectives, maintain a reliable technology infrastructure, overcome technology issues, and increase profitability.

If you’re the right candidate for the opportunity, you’ve been involved in management of several heterogeneous infrastructures consisting of Microsoft® and Linux based servers and software, Cisco, and various primary lines of business applications.

Your ability to provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively, take ownership, multi-task in stressful situations, and your continued interest in education will lead to success.
Qualifications:• 4-5 years of experience in IT.
• Experience in the managed services industry is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• MCSE and/or CCNA a plus.
• Both hardware and software support and troubleshooting.
• Providing remote technical support, especially internet and phone based support.
• Remote control applications (i.e. GoToAssist, LogMeIn and RDP).
• Configuring and supporting Cisco PIX’s, ASA’s, managed switches, firewalls and other network infrastructure devices.
• Network administration to include Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS in a Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 environment. Windows Small Business Server experience is a plus.
• Implementing and supporting Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010.
• Linux environments.
• Configuring, deploying and managing VOIP phone systems.
• Configuring and managing backups on a daily basis and disaster recovery testing
• Advanced administrative skills in all Microsoft operating systems (workstation and server).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Exchange.
• Familiarity with Licensing (Microsoft, Cisco, software).
• Advanced knowledge of virus removal (various apps).
• Experience with Kaspersky Business Space Security, Symantec EPP / EPM.
• Ability to troubleshoot, install and update drivers.
• Advanced data backup and recovery skills.
• Basic SQL skills.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN.
• Mid-level knowledge of virtualization software (i.e. VMware, HyperV) a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of hardware based firewalls, routers, switches, modems, WIFI (Cisco, SonicWall, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of local and network based printers (inkjet, laser jet, MFD).
• Advanced Smartphone administration skills.
• Excellent internal PC hardware knowledge (motherboards, RAM, processors, hard drives, video, sound, etc.)
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent critical thinking and innovation skills.
